The rugged 4 x 4 vehicles used in the Shell Helix “Driven to Extremes” programme are to be used in a new project to support military veterans suffering from PTSD. The new Driven to Extremes project used the Nissan Patrols with Shell fuel and lubricants in a series of challenging rehabilitation adventures including the recent Dakar Challenge.
The Patrols were loaded from a GLM storage facility by the British Army prior to being made ready for their new adventures. For further information about the project, click here.
