Recently GLM has undertaken the logistics to deliver Delta Motorsport’s Electric Prototype Vehicle to the USA and Asia.
The Delta E4 Coupe is one of the first truly practical electric road cars. With 4 seats, speeds up to 116mph and a range of more than 100 miles, the E4 combines the key elements for a desirable electric car in one package.
GLM’s role has been to provide logistics advice and support to ship the E4 internationally given its new technology and restrictions on batteries in air cargo.
GLM has worked with IATA and the Department for Transport in the UK and the EPA in the USA to ensure regulations are followed and their project planning team has been a vital part of the supply chain guaranteeing on-time delivery.
