BREXIT UPDATE

BREXIT UPDATE

TO ALL OUR CLIENTS

As we move closer to an expected announcement by the UK and EU on trade arrangements from 23:00hrs December 31st 2020, we’d like to re-confirm what we know so far.

We know that from 23:00hrs on the 31st of December 2020 all goods transiting between the UK and Europe will require customs clearance, in the same way as goods moving from and to the UK and the rest of the world. This will be the case regardless of any trade deal.

There have been some developments on the movement of goods between the UK mainland and Northern Ireland and we await clarity as the technical details are finalised. We expect those to be confirmed very soon.

Our operations staff are fully versed in all aspects and modes of international shipments and will be on hand to guide our clients through any changes that are required.

In the meantime, please call us on 01753 689698 with any questions.
