On January 16th 1996 Andy Berry and Mark Bonner signed the papers to incorporate Global Logistics Management Ltd. Since then the company has grown into the leading supplier of logistics management services for the marketing industry.
With British American Tobacco as one of its first customers, 20 years later GLM now works with a multitude of leading global brands providing managed logistics services.
Andy Berry, GLM’s MD said: “Both Mark and I are extremely proud of the business we have created and the team we have built to support us. The company has evolved over the 20 years into a true global service provider and advisor but the core vision remains the same which is to provide global brands with an expert logistics management partner to allow them to focus on what they do best.
We are excited and confident about the future and are looking forward to the next 20 years!”
Mark Bonner, GLM’s Operations Director added: “We’ve had a ring-side seat to changes in the marketing industry over the years and now we are seeing more and more complex challenges in what our customers need to achieve. In particular, legal and customs regulations have become more demanding and it’s now a big part of our job to make sure we keep our customers compliant and up to date with the changes.”
