Lithium Ion batteries on aircraft

Key GLM staff have recently renewed their certification in transporting hazardous cargo and dangerous goods by air. Included in the new training and certification programme were aspects of the latest lithium-ion transportation restrictions. The material remains an issue for both passenger and cargo flights and GLM will continue to ensure they stay fully updated on handling these and other hazardous items.
It is hoped that research like this article link will continue to develop safer products.
