Staff at Global Logistics Management have recently completed certified training in the safe handling and transportation of Lithium Ion batteries. The training was undertaken to keep pace with the continuing development of lithium ion batteries when used in the Automotive and Technology industries.
“There is no doubt that Li-ion batteries are a hazard if they are not handled and packed correctly. This becomes an increased risk when air freight is involved. It’s important we continue to provide our customers with the very latest information and keep at the forefront of the safe handling of hazardous materials.”
