2015 Formula 1 Shell Belgian Grand Prix

The recent Grand Prix of Belgium saw considerable activity for GLM Technicians. As well as paddock club equipment installations GLM also managed the logistics for several Shell assets including the Scuderia Ferrari Showcar and Pit Stop Challange Car.

The Pit Stop Challenge saw a high number of participants through the weekend and was part of the Shell promotional display which also housed the Shell Mobile Laboratory. This lab helps Shell to demonstrate to the public the function of its Grand Prix trackside operation. Further details on the lab can be found here.

Kai-Uwe Witterstein, Shell Brands International’s Global Sponsorship Manager, added: “Thanks for delivering an excellent pit stop challenge experience in the F1 Village with no incidents and a HSSE mindset.  As always thanks also for great management of logistics and on-time deliveries.  We know we can always count on GLM to deliver excellence!”
